What we collect
When you use our quote form we collect your name, email address, phone number and postcode, your answers about the project, and any message you add. We also record the page you sent the form from and the time it was sent. If you email or call us, we keep the details you give us.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, arrange a consultation and prepare a quotation.
- To carry out and manage any work you ask us to do.
- To keep records we are required to keep for accounting and legal reasons.
Our lawful basis is your request for a quotation (steps taken before entering into a contract) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
Your enquiry is seen only by the London Forge team who handle enquiries, prepare your quote and carry out the work. Our website host and email provider process data on our behalf. We do not sell or share your details with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after 24 months. Records relating to work we carry out are kept for as long as the law requires, usually six years.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
